Founder of HANNAHOGEMS, Hanna, was born and raised in a truly international family, where the refined tastes of her elegant Italian/Chinese grandmother exerted a significant influence on her. Her appreciation for exquisite fine jewellery has been cultivated since her early years.

Formally trained since the tender age of four, Hanna’s musical journey began as a Violinist. Remarkably, she garnered significant awards in her early career, including a solo performance for the Mayor of Vienna at the age of 9 during the “Frühlings musik festival” in Vienna, Austria. At 12, under the esteemed guidance of her professor Wing Ho, Hanna transitioned to the Viola. By 16, she secured a full scholarship to the National University of Singapore, where she was mentored by Prof. Man Chin Zhang, the head of Strings at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and principal Violist at the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Hanna furthered her musical pursuits in Singapore and the UK, earning acceptance into the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Despite her flourishing musical career, Hanna’s fascination with fine art persisted from her early years. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, post-graduation from the NUS, she made the bold decision to immerse herself in the realms of jewellery design and craftsmanship. Over a span of four dedicated years, Hanna pursued studies in the United States, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Her perseverance culminated in the attainment of the Graduate Gemologist and Jewellery Design Certificates from the Gemological Institute of America, a jewellery-making diploma from Alchemia, Florence, and a Pre-Master’s Degree from The School of Jewellery, Birmingham City University.

Although Hanna was accepted into the Master’s program at BCU, an intrinsic desire to forge her own path and create her brand propelled her to embark on entrepreneurship. Thus, in 2019, HANNAHOGEMS came into existence, a testament to Hanna’s unwavering commitment, diverse cultural influences, and passion for the world of fine art.
